Throughout December we are running ‘Christmas on the Closes’ tours. Come along with your family and friends to find out what a traditional Christmas would have been like on the Edinburgh Closes from the 1500s – 1900s; learn interesting facts about the festive period in Scotland and discover why Hogmanay (New Year) is so important to us Scots? The tours also make a fantastic start to a Christmas social occasion! All tickets include a glass of mulled wine and a festive mince pie!
Christmas On The Closes Tours run on the following dates in 2008:
Saturday December 6th, Sunday December 7th, Saturday December 13th, Sunday December 14th, Monday December 15th, Tuesday December 16th, Wednesday December 17th, Thursday December 18th, Friday December 19th, Saturday December 20th, Sunday December 21st.
Times - Sunday - Friday - 3pm - 5pm (last tour)
Saturday - 6pm - 9pm (last tour)
