Throughout the year, we will be inviting you to join us for special days of magic and storytelling in our Burgh Courtroom which are usually themed around a specific event such as Halloween or the launch of a new and exclusive product in our fantastic new gift shop. Our 'Magic Days' give you the opportunity to have your own Mary King's Close experience, without stepping foot underground! Of course our tours run as normal throughout each day.
The first Magic Day was held on Saturday July 21st 2007 to mark the launch of the latest and last Harry Potter book, which was also sold with an exclusive first day Mary King's Close commemorative stamp. The day was a huge success and visitors enjoyed entertainment from Jack Martin, who told mystical stories of Edinburgh's past, Pickle Tillum, who made mad and creative balloon animals and Magic Ian who wowed us with this magic tricks!
Look out for the details of our next event!
