The Real Mary King's Close is thought to be one of the most haunted places in Scotland. For a more 'paranormal' take on the site, try our Supernatural History Tour, where the urban myths and legends will be examined. From the famous documented 'Satan's Invisible World' written in 1685, right through to sightings since its opening in 2003. The true stories may send a shiver down your spine... or perhaps one of the ghosts associated with this site just brushed past your back?
These special tours will run every evening during Halloween week - Friday 25th October 2008 to Friday 31st October 2008 (Tours will run every 20 minutes and will last 1 hour). The tours will then run from 6pm - 9pm (last tour) every Saturday evening from November 1st 2008 until March 31st 2009 (with the exception of December 6th, 13th and 20th when we will be running our festive Christmas tours!). Whilst children under 5 are not permitted, parents are advised that some children of a nervous disposition may prefer our historical tours which run throughout the day up until 6pm.
